About Denrique
Denrique Preudhomme is a communications strategist, business executive, journalist, and award-winning author with more than 23 years of professional writing and senior leadership experience. She specializes in strategic messaging across business, government, and media environments, with particular expertise in media and public relations, public affairs, crisis and risk communication, issues management, and intercultural communication.
Throughout her career, Denrique has led high-impact initiatives for both start-up and multinational organizations, driving business growth and supporting successful organizational restructuring. She also brings in-depth knowledge of Federal government contracting and procurement, including experience guiding bid strategies for contract awards valued at up to $5 billion.
Denrique is the author of Stranger Than Fiction: Tales of the unforeseen and unforgettable (short fiction), The Undisguised Truth (social and political essays), and Reflections of Realism (poems). Her writing has earned the Urban Spectrum Newspaper’s National Writers Award for Best Collection of Short Fiction, and she is profiled in Marquis Who’s Who in America®.
She is an active member of the Society of Professional Journalists, the Public Relations Society of America, and the Certified Professional Writers Association, and is recognized as a foreign scholar in the Creative Arts. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in communication and media (magna cum laude) from the University of Maryland and a Master’s degree from Johns Hopkins University, specializing in media and public relations and political communication.
She divides time between Washington, DC, and Manhattan, New York. Her personal interests include reading (an avid reader), historical travel, photography, ballet—she is professionally trained in ballet and modern dance—health and fitness, and fine dining. She is an excellent Scrabble player.
